Continuing with their lyrical themes of evolution, space and time, its clear the sludgy down tuned riffs churned out here are not boneheaded stoner jams but drunken leaps into the existential void. Best description I can muster is progressive grind, or, if Palatka were to cover the Swans “Filth” album, though neither of those dudes have heard both of those bands.

RABBITS, Portland’s confounding and strangely innovative metal trio, compose
a fast song about a sloth and a slow song about bees. Dense and complex,
